InSinkErator® Evolution Series® Disposers feature patented MultiGrind® and SoundSeal® technologies, which means they grind more with less noise. The Evolution Septic Assist® Food Waste Disposer is specifically designed for homes with septic systems. Each time the disposer is activated, a citrus-scented Bio-Charge® solution containing natural microorganisms that help break down food waste is injected into the grind chamber. The Evolution Septic Assist® features MultiGrind® to grind everything from artichokes to rib bones, and SoundSeal® technology that cuts noise levels by up to 40% over standard disposers.

Instead of throwing this food waste away, grinding it with the Evolution Septic Assist® sends it to your local municipal wastewater treatment plant, where it can be recycled to produce methane, a renewable source of power for the plant. Additionally, wastewater treatment plants can process food waste into biosolids to be used as fertilizer (check the plant in your area).
